Our residents enjoyed a colourful and hands on Mexican Fiesta, bringing together residents, visitors and staff for an afternoon. The celebrations began with a visit from students from Bertha Park High School, who spent time with residents creating a colourful piñata ready for the afternoon’s activities. It was a lovely opportunity for different generations to come together, share creativity and enjoy time as a community.
Later, the home welcomed the ladies from sheltered housing for their monthly visit. Everyone joined in with the Mexican-themed celebrations, starting with a fun game of Mexican Bingo before taking part in the much-anticipated piñata activity.

The afternoon continued with delicious virgin margaritas all around, kindly prepared by the administration team, alongside a selection of tapas-style treats and nibbles prepared by the kitchen team.
Days like this provide opportunities for residents to enjoy familiar company, try something different and take part at their own pace. Most importantly, the celebration brought the community together for a day full of fun and we want to thank everyone who got involved in making this happen.
